Warranties
For all warranty claims please ensure you have your proof of purchase at hand, an invoice from your electrician from the installation and the check the faulty product is within the applicable warranty period. Warranty is always a replacement warranty only.
The Lighting Outlet is not responsible for damages caused by unprofessional installation, modified products or manipulated by the customer or by any other person not authorised by the manufacturer; as well as by improper use, manipulation and / or short circuits, apparent signs of improper treatment.
The Clearance products have up to 12 Months limited replacement warranty on products that fail due to defective materials or workmanship.
Damaged or Missing items
Notification of any damages or missing items must be received by The Lighting Outlet within seven days of receipt of the product. The customer is to provide photographs of the damages and email them to customerservice@thelighingoutlet.co.nz
If the product is to be repaired or replaced, it must correspond to the one originally sent by The Lighting Outlet and the customer must include the delivery note and/or invoice.
Do not dispose of any damaged items without written email confirmation from the TLO team. They may request that the items be returned to our warehouse for further investigation. Without this confirmation, we cannot process a refund for any damaged items.
Returns Policy
Please choose your purchase carefully as we do not offer returns and refunds for change of mind.
Cancellations
Customers who wish to cancel all or part of an order due to change of mind or incorrectly ordered may do subject to cancelling in within 12 hours, during business hours from time of purchase. Once products have been shipped, you cannot cancel them.
All returns, damaged, missing items or order cancellations must be notified by a clear statement (for example, a letter sent by mail or e-mail) within stated time.
Liability
We exclude, and are not liable for, all liabilities, losses, damages, expenses and costs of any kind (including without limitation any indirect and consequential losses, such as commercial or economic loss of any kind, and/or expenses incurred for installation services) as a result of or in connection with your access and/or use of our website, and/or any of our acts or omissions (including negligence). Governing Law Any argument relating to the terms and conditions between The Lighting Outlet and the customer shall be governed by the laws of New South Wales, Australia.
